How pricing works
Holdency prices coins and packs from live on-chain market data, with layered fallbacks so a number is always available.
Coin prices & 24h change
For each coin Holdency queries the on-chain token index and picks the highest-liquidity token that matches the symbol — this avoids copycat tokens that share a ticker. It reads the USD price and 24h change from that result.
Token search returns price, 24h change and an icon; the deepest-liquidity match wins.
If the index has no usable result, Holdency reads the best Robinhood Chain pair from DexScreener.
Resolved prices are cached briefly so the UI stays fast and rate-limits are respected.
How ETH pricing works
Because you pay in ETH — a dollar stablecoin pegged to $1 — USD amounts map straight to ETH at checkout with no exchange-rate step. Coin prices come from live on-chain market data, cached briefly.
