Settlement & custody

Holdency is built to be non-custodial: your wallet signs, your wallet holds. Here's how settlement works and what's live today.

Payment

When you mint, your wallet signs a ETH transfer for the total (price + fee). The transaction settles on Robinhood Chain and you get a signature you can verify on a block explorer.

Custody model

  • Your keys: Holdency never asks for or stores your seed phrase or private key.
  • Your signature: every payment is approved in your own wallet.
  • On-chain proof: mint payments produce a real transaction signature.
What's live vs. plannedLive today: live pricing, ETH settlement, real wallet-signed ETH payment, and position tracking. In progress: settling the full ten-coin basket per position and self-serve redemption. Two paths are on the table — an existing non-custodial vault protocol, or a Holdency-run swap layer over Robinhood Chain's DEX — chosen to keep custody and rebalancing safe.

Network

Everything runs on Robinhood Chain for speed and low fees. Rebalances are designed to route through the on-chain DEX so swaps get best execution across pools.
