The Holdency token
The Holdency token has not been deployed yet. This page describes what activates the moment the mint address is set in the site's config — nothing on this page is active today.
Not live yetThe site currently runs without a the Holdency token gate. Anyone can create packs, and every buy settles in ETH only. The planned the Holdency token-holder benefits below are UI-ready but inactive until the token is deployed and its mint address is pasted into the config file.
Planned utility
When the Holdency token launches, holding it will unlock four benefits at the same time, all enforced by the site reading your wallet balance on-chain:
- Pack creation gate. Only wallets holding at least $10 worth of the Holdency token will be able to publish community packs. Any smaller balance falls back to read-only.
- Pay-in-the Holdency token tab. The buy modal already shows a second payment tab ("Pay in the Holdency token — 20% off"). It's disabled today; it activates the moment the mint address is set.
- Creator tiers. Larger the Holdency token balances unlock a higher royalty share on every pack you create. The tier table lives in the site config as
CREATOR_TIERS(currently 1% / 2% / 3% at $1k / $10k / $100k). - Holder-first drops. New signature editions will be gated to holders for a short window before opening publicly. Not implemented yet — planned.
What a mint delivers today
A pack mint delivers five to ten ERC-20 tokens straight to your wallet. There is no wrapper token, no vault position, and no on-chain royalty split — the 0.5% platform fee is the only extra amount charged on top of the pack price. This will not change when the Holdency token launches; the token adds new upsides without removing the current guarantees.
